Rocky Peak Trail serves as an introduction to a wonderful 5000 acre park that includes caves and stuning rock formations.

The trail itself is about 5 miles roundtrip, with an elevation gain of 1100 ft. The peak is at 2714 ft above sea level.

DIRECTIONS: To reach the trailhead take Highway 118/Ronald Reagan Freeway from the east, exit Rocky Peak Road, the trailhead parking is immediately to your right at the stop sign. Overflow parking is across the freeway along Santa Susana Pass Road. (Warning: Do not park on the freeway overpass, you will be ticketed).

 

Coming from the west take Highway 118 in Simi Valley, exit Kuehner Drive, drive south on Kuehner approx. 3 miles. Kuehner drive will become Santa Susana Pass Road. Turn left at the top of the pass crossing over the freeway and park at the end of the road.
