Deukmejian Wilderness Park, Dunsmore Canyon.

700 acres of easy walking with views of the Crescenta Valley.

The park is the start of several trails to Mt. Lukens.

DIRECTIONS: From the I-210 in La Crescenta take the Pennsylvania Avenue exit north towards the mountains. Turn left on Foothill Blvd. Turn right on Dunsmore Avenue and follow it until its end. Turn right (east) on Markridge. The entrance to the park will be on the left and is very clearly marked. Follow the nicely paved road to the top where you will find an adequate amount of parking on pavement as well as overflow parking on crushed rock.
